The Christchurch Branch of the Theosophical Society (an incorporated charitable trust) closed down in November 1999. However there are still T.S. members in Christchurch who are interested in studying theosophy. On occassion they come together for the odd meeting and study. They have formed themselves into a Study Group and have the support of the National Section.

The National Section sends the occassional speaker to Christchurch were we hold public talks for interested people.
