The Devaraj of Mt. Manaia Range, McLeod's Bay, Whangarei Heads

Presiding over the total range of mountains at Whangarei Heads - of which Mt. Manaia is at the southern end and a smaller mountain at the northern end - is a very lofty landscape Devaraja stationed above the centre of the peaks, hovering normally at about half the height again of the summit of Mt. Manaia itself. The central figure is almost immeasurably tall, at least the height of the mountain on the left, which would be some five hundred feet or more.
